For their task 4, French Basic 1b students (A2) have to play roles. One student will be a police officer and one student will play a victim. The victim has to report that their animal has been stolen. The police officer has to fill in a form and draw a facial composite of the thief. | |

Before the task | |
– Students have to watch a movie fragment (from Les Misérables) that shows a scene with animal theft. | |
During the task | |
– Division in pairs (one police officer and one victim): the students “victims” prepare their speech and then report the crime to the students “police officer” – The police officers will ask questions and fill in a form – The victims will tell their story (past tense!) and draw a facial composite. | |
